Man, what a week it's been for Aleanders. First, Upstreet opened one week ago, and now two more of us are in the news again!
Aaron Mills & Jason MacCallum work for Agriculture Canada, and are looking for as many old / wild / native / heritage strains of hops in the maritime region as they can.
The idea is to grow and develop hops that have local traits (which is marketable for local brewers), and are more resistant to pests and disease. Check the full article at CBC.
